SYNC Omnis 4.0 - Option to remove OK button on the payment page
In previous versions, the OK and Exact button performed the same function, completing the sale using the exact amount of the selected tender. A new option to disable and grey out the OK button from the payment page has been added. Navigate to Sync Office > Sales > POS Policies > General tab: This option is intended to avoid users inadvertently completing the sale with an incorrect tender amount or tender selected.
With this option disabled, the OK button will be active on the payment page and will function the same as pressing the Exact button to complete the sale.
With this option enabled, the OK button will be inactive, unless the user manually enters a tendered amount using the keypad. The Exact and Quick Tender buttons will continue to operate as before.
Removed OK button at end of transaction
The following page has been removed from the sales payment process when Credit Card is selected as the payment type:
