SYNC Desk - Order Management - Non-Bowling Venue

This view panel shows the processing of Online Ordering food & drink orders.

Online Ordering – F&B ordering online with payment usually via QR code on table/menu.

When the order comes through it shows as a yellow box in the top left-hand corner of the screen and will appear in the same location irrelevant of which view panels is being viewed. It will show the transaction number it created, the source of the order, the time of the order and the delivery details.

Clicking on the Notify button will send a notification to the ordering customer by details given on the online ordering via an external service named Twillio, which is an SMS service.

The pencil button gives you options to edit the notification which is to be sent.

When the order is highlighted it will open the options in the bottom left-hand corner. This gives you the option to Complete Selected Order, Hide Completed Order, Clear Overhead Message (which relates to Digital Signage integration to KDS system) and Open Transaction.

As payment is made via the online ordering platform, once the order is made and delivered to the customer you can select the Complete Selected Order to finalise.

When selecting Open Transaction it will show in the receipt field and any amendments to the order can be processed.

Please note: As soon as the order is processed by the customer it will automatically send the order to the ROP's to be made. Making amendments after this may affect kitchen/bar.
