SYNC Office - Account Categories

SYNC Office > Analysis > Account Categories

Account categories manage the groups of accounts.

Press Search in the top left-hand corner to show all categories.

The categories are usually set up on installation and relate to the different kinds of deposits that are held within the system.

  • Online - Online booking deposits
  • Personal - In-house/event deposits
  • System - account to handle open tabs at the end of the day (transactions left in Find)
  • Charity Roundup - This was introduced in SYNC 3.8 release to allow for rounding up transactions for charity fundraising. You may not see this on your system currently.
