SYNC Desk - Reservations Overview

The Sync Desk application can perform a wide variety of functions, including controlling resources such as bowling lanes and billiard tables, sales of different products, restaurant table management, reservations, remote order management, guest management functions.  Each of the activities have a separate and unique View Panel.  This document will explain the different types of View Panels and the functions within each type.  This section will discuss the Reservations View Panel.  In this example, it is named Reservations.

In the top left hand corner it will show the date of the reservation sheet showing.

Down the hand side are all activity and table resources available to the facility.

Across the top of the reservation sheet is the time in hourly increments.

The red bar down the middle of the reservation sheet shows the current time.

Each of the bold boxes accounts for one resource in a one hour slot, but can be broken down in 5 minute increments.

Coloured boxes with names in show customer bookings and can cover required lengths of time to accommodate bookings and can cover one or more resources. These will show in different colours according to the Reservation Type, which are set up in SYNC Office, to give the reception team a better understandings of booking throughout the day without having to access each booking.

The resources show in a yellow highlight when active.
